Invisalign Sapphire Provider 2026

Life happens. Your retainer can be replaced — quickly and easily.

Vivera® replacement retainers at Clearcut.

Lost your retainer? Worn it down? Found it in the back of a drawer after way too long? All of these happen — and none of them require an explanation when you contact us.

ClearCut uses Vivera® retainers — the retainer made by Invisalign. Vivera is fabricated from a thicker, stronger material than your aligners, engineered specifically for long-term retention. They’re durable, they hold their shape, and they fit with the same precision you expect from ClearCut. And when you need a replacement, we make the process as simple as possible.

If you’re already a ClearCut patient and your original retainers were fitting well — and you haven’t had major dental work since they were made — you may not even need to come in. We can reorder your Vivera® retainers and have them sent directly to you. No appointment necessary. Just your replacement retainer, delivered.

Not all retainers are the same. Here’s why Vivera® is the one ClearCut uses.

Made by Invisalign®. Built for retention.

Vivera® retainers are made by Align Technology — the same company that made your Invisalign® aligners. Unlike your treatment aligners, Vivera retainers are fabricated from a thicker, stronger material designed specifically for long-term retention, so they stand up to years of nightly wear while holding your smile precisely in place.

Clinically proven to be 30% stronger than other leading retainer brands.

Vivera® retainers are independently tested and proven to be 30% stronger and 2x more resistant to cracking than other clear retainer brands. They last longer, hold their shape better, and maintain their clarity over time. That’s not marketing language — it’s the clinical data behind why Dr. Skopek chose them for every ClearCut patient.

Precision-fit from a digital scan — no impression trays.

Every Vivera® retainer at ClearCut is fabricated from a precise digital scan of your teeth — no messy impression trays, no approximation. The result is a retainer that fits your exact tooth position at the time of fabrication, accurate to the millimeter. When you replace your Vivera® retainer at ClearCut, you’re getting the same precision fit as your original.

Sets, not singles — so you always have a backup.

Vivera® retainers come in sets of identical retainers, fabricated simultaneously from the same scan. Ordering multiple sets means you have backups ready when you need them — no emergency appointments, no waiting. Most patients find that ordering 2–4 sets provides peace of mind for years of retention.

Never been seen at ClearCut? Here’s how your first visit works.

If you’ve never been seen at ClearCut before — even if you had Vivera® retainers made elsewhere — we’ll need to see you in person first.

Your first visit will be booked as a new patient appointment: a brief exam with Dr. Skopek, a digital scan of your current alignment, any necessary records, and your health history forms through OrthoFi. From there, your Vivera® retainers are fabricated and ordered. It’s a simple process that ensures your retainer fits accurately and safely.

No appointment needed — or we’re here if you want one.

Option A — Reorder by Mail | No Appointment Required.

If you’re an established ClearCut patient whose Vivera® retainers fit well before you lost or wore them out — and you haven’t had significant dental work since they were made — you can reorder them directly. We’ll use your existing digital scan on file to fabricate a new set and have it shipped directly to you. Call either location, let us know you’d like to reorder, and we’ll take care of everything else. Your replacement retainer arrives at your door — no appointment, no waiting room.

Option B — In-Office Appointment | When a New Scan Makes Sense.

If it’s been a while since your retainers were made, if your retainer feels slightly off, or if you’ve had dental work done recently, a new digital scan ensures the most accurate possible fit. An in-office appointment takes under 30 minutes: a brief alignment check, a new scan, and your replacement retainer ordered. Most patients are surprised by how quick and easy it is.

The ClearCut Best Value Retainer Program — unlimited Vivera® replacements at $50 per set, for up to 10 years.

Retainers wear out. They get lost. Life happens. And every time they need replacing, most patients face a choice between paying full replacement price or going without — and hoping their teeth don’t shift in the meantime.

The ClearCut Best Value Retainer Program was designed to eliminate that choice entirely. One down payment. One decade of coverage. Every replacement at just $50 per set — no matter how many times you need one.

And if you have dental work done at any point during those ten years, we’ll rescan you at no extra charge to ensure your retainer fits perfectly around your new work.

★ BEST VALUE VIVERA® RETAINER PROGRAM

The smartest long-term investment for your smile.

$825

DOWN PAYMENT

then just $50 co-pay per retainer set, for up to 10 years

What’s included:

✓ Unlimited Vivera® retainer replacements at $50 per set, for 10 full years

✓ Free rescan if you have any dental work done — no additional charge, ever

✓ Same-quality Vivera® retainers every time, precision-fit from your digital scan

✓ Peace of mind — no more worrying about the cost of a replacement

Pricing is subject to change. Please call or text either location to confirm current program pricing before enrolling.

The math — and the peace of mind.

The numbers are straightforward.

Without the program, a single Vivera® replacement set costs $400. Two sets: $620. Three sets: $750. Four sets: $825, which is the same as the program down payment. But the program doesn’t just give you four sets. It gives you unlimited replacements at $50 each for a full decade. If you replace your retainer even three times over ten years through the program, you’ve already saved money. Most patients replace theirs more often than that.

The free rescan changes everything.

Here’s the detail most patients don’t expect: if you have any dental work done during your ten years — a crown, an implant, a filling that changes your bite — we’ll rescan you and fabricate new retainers that fit your updated smile at no additional charge. Without the program, a new scan incurs an additional cost. With it, it’s included. Always.

You'll never pay full price for a replacement again.

Lost retainer? Worn it out? Did the dog get it? Without the program, that’s $400 out of pocket. With the program, it’s $50. That difference — along with the absence of the financial sting of losing a retainer — changes how patients think about retainer care. You’re not avoiding calling us because you’re dreading the bill. You call, we order, it arrives. Done.
Comparison ★ Best Value Program Individual Replacements

Prefer to order as you go? Individual replacements are always available.

If you prefer not to enroll in the program — or if you’re replacing a retainer for the first time and want to evaluate your options — individual Vivera® replacement sets are available at both locations at the following pricing:
Pricing is subject to change — call either location to confirm current pricing before ordering. If a retainer was not worn as prescribed and tooth movement has occurred, retreatment may be required before scanning for new retainers.
Note: At 4 individual sets ($825), the cost matches the Best Value Program down payment — but the program then gives you unlimited replacements at $50 each for 10 years. If you’re considering 4 sets, it’s worth asking about the program first.

The program makes the most sense if any of these sound like you.

You finished Invisalign® treatment and want long-term protection.

You worked hard for this smile. The program ensures that a lost or worn retainer never becomes a reason to let it shift. One enrollment, a decade of coverage, and the confidence that your investment is protected.

You've replaced a retainer before — and remember what it cost.

If you’ve been through the replacement process and paid full price, the program math is immediately obvious. You know how often retainers need to be replaced. The program makes every replacement after the first dramatically cheaper.

You have an active lifestyle — or kids who do.

Athletes, teenagers, and busy families lose retainers at a higher rate than the average patient. The $50 replacement cost changes the math of an active lifestyle entirely. No more dreading the call.

Not sure which option fits your situation? Here’s how to decide.

★ The Best Value Program makes sense if:

✓ You want long-term protection without thinking about replacement costs every time

✓ You’ve replaced a retainer before and remember what it cost at full price

✓ You have dental work coming up and want the free rescan included

✓ You’re an active patient, a teen, or someone who tends to lose or wear out retainers

✓ You’re considering 4 individual sets, which cost the same as the program entry fee

Individual replacement makes sense if:

→ You need a one-time replacement and aren’t sure about your long-term needs yet

→ You’re testing whether the fit is right before committing to a program

→ You prefer to pay as you go rather than up front

→ You only need one arch replaced right now

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT VIVERA® RETAINER REPLACEMENT

Do I need an appointment to replace my Vivera® retainer?

Not always. If you’re an established ClearCut patient whose retainers fit well before you lost or wore them out — and you haven’t had significant dental work since they were made — you can reorder by phone. We’ll use your digital scan on file to fabricate a new set and ship it directly to you. If you’re new to ClearCut, or if it’s been a while or you’re not sure about your alignment, we’ll see you for a quick in-office scan appointment to ensure the most accurate fit — most of those are under 30 minutes.
How long does it take to receive replacement Vivera® retainers?

Mail delivery typically takes one to two weeks from the time your order is placed, depending on fabrication and shipping time. In-office pickup is typically available within a similar timeframe after your scan appointment. Call either location for the most current turnaround estimate.
Why should I order multiple sets?
Vivera® retainers are fabricated in sets from a single scan. Ordering multiple sets at once means each set is identical, and the cost per set decreases with each additional set. Having 2–4 sets on hand means a lost or worn retainer never becomes an emergency. Most patients who order a single set find themselves back sooner than they expected — ordering multiple sets upfront is almost always the better value.
What if my teeth have shifted since my last retainer was made?

A new scan will capture your current alignment, and your replacement retainer will be fabricated to fit your teeth as they are today. If the shift is significant, Dr. Skopek may recommend a brief evaluation to determine whether a touch-up phase of clear aligner treatment is warranted before fabricating a new retainer. (Note: if a retainer wasn’t worn as prescribed and tooth movement has occurred, retreatment may be required before scanning for new retainers.) Either way, coming in is always the right first step.
Can I replace my Vivera® retainer if I didn't have Invisalign treatment at ClearCut?

Yes — but if you’ve never been seen at ClearCut, your first visit will be a new patient appointment (a brief exam, scan, and health history) before we fabricate your retainer. If a new scan is needed, we’re happy to provide one regardless of where your original treatment was done. We accept patients from any practice for retainer replacement and fabrication.
What's the difference between Vivera® retainers and other clear retainers?

Vivera® retainers are made by Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign®. They’re fabricated from a thicker, stronger material engineered specifically for long-term retention — clinically proven to be 30% stronger and 2x more resistant to cracking than other leading clear retainer brands. They also tend to maintain their clarity and fit longer than generic alternatives. ClearCut uses Vivera® because its quality and fit consistency meet the precision standard of your original Invisalign® treatment.
